I think there can be improved a lot in graphics, to atract people.
How about less line-graphics space and a daily dilbert strip on it (or other comic). I think lots of people would like it, it would give some fun as feedback. Other people would like to see it too, and thus join.

Another option would be to have a random image from an artist on it, Or other members best photo's. A rating system could be added and a few pictures of the day could be the screen saver, this would cost almost no cpu power. (in fact graphic area becomes smaller and thus more cpu power could be used for calculation instead of drawing that result line.

(if you go for dilbert then preferably a different one then on his normal site).

This might require a general boinc update (not sure if that would be required). Altough if you put a image in the workloads then boinc software has not to be changed. It will cost some more bandwidht, loading of it could perhaps be done distributed?

Oh ehm i as inventor i would like to see "provided from rosetta@home" visible at the graphics, even if it ends up on seti project, or others. (so this group can get bigger), other wise it might become a run on the best comic writer as desiscion which projects people use..(and i hope they will use this project)
