Just curious. Tried to install boinc onto a new system and I can't get there. I tried a few hours ago, and it wasn't working then either.

Any chance we could host a copy of the boinc software here?

I've just tried from here in the UK and the whole boinc.berkeley,edu site seems to be down at the moment.

Suggest you just hang loose for a while - it should come back up again later.

the entire SSL(space sciences lab) building is without power. This was a "planned" outage. Scheduled return is 9 am PDT tomorrow(7/7/06). The servers are finally at room temperature(hope they don't get spoiled by this and wander in that direction on their own, later on). some sort of building maintenance and I don't think it's their building that's being checked. LOL

Power for the entire Space Sciences Laboratory will be off overnight to diagnose electrical problems in a nearby facility. We will start bringing our systems down tonight at 16:00 PDT (23:00 UTC) and back up around 09:00 PDT tomorrow morning (16:00 UTC). Web sites, data servers, etc. will all be offline during this time.
