I've had pretty regular crashes of rosetta@home (5.4.3 on Windows XP SP2 with a Pentium D); the screen completely freezes up, and I have to do a ctrl-alt-del to be able to kill the task. Interestingly, the task is still taking up its normal CPU utilization...! The entry in the message list says (can't copy & paste? bummer):

Unrecoverable error for result s019__BOINC_ABRELAX_NEWRELAXFLAGS_hom004__1458_19827_0 (Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1))

Please fix! ...or How can I help fix?

Actually, there is a thread just for the screensaver issues. The recommendation, for folks like yourself that are having problems with the screensaver, is not to run the screensaver. The problem will be addressed when the project team returns from the holiday vacation.

When the screensaver problems are resolved, it will be posted in the version relaese log. Suggest you subscribe to that thread. This will send you an EMail when the thread is updated for a new Rosetta release.

You can copy paste from the messages tab of BOINC Manager. Select the first message you wish to share, hold the shift key down and select the last message, then click the "copy selected messages" button.
