any seti people out there? >>>>>>>>>>> Television and radio signals which were once thought to be capable of transmitting information over interstellar distances actually decompose into static within one or two light years according to research done by the SETI project.[2][3][4] If any alien civilizations observe the Solar System, they may not detect human civilization or its remnants on Earth.

not sure, for the moment Clinton, waiting for the rhetoric to die down and the facts to come out before i really make up my mind. Both are pretty good, but I think Clinton has some advantages of her previous time in the white house as first lady trying to influence health care. Not sure how Ex pres Bill is going to work out. But he could help her, by using some of his old contacts in the world of politics. Barak is fiesty, he might just get stuff done quicker. Either way the Democrats are going to win this. After George W's reign of stupidity and with a Democratic congress, things will get done fast no matter which canidate gets in the office. You have to read in between the lines of their statements on their website. Right now it is say whatever it takes to get delegates to win the spot on the convention. When that big party of nonsense is over then we can see what the canidate is really about.

when the donkeys take over from the elephants, does that mean you're coming back state-side?

woman or man - hard to say. this year, their both pretty equal except that mrs clinton has some really sharp negative press coming out about her. not to surprising. mr obama - well hes a unknown, but hes got ties to the old kennedy group which could be good or bad. personally i am not sure which one is better.
either way it is exciting to watch. a less seasoned political person of a minority color vs a seasoned minority gender with a insider to help or inhibit her true self. its still a shell game, using whatever face serves the purpose. i don't believe anything they say right now. after whichever person gets elected for the democratic candidate, then i will pay more attention to what they say. but on the other hand, anything is better than a republican based on their performance the last 8 years.

party wise - simple

if you are into big business or lean towards heavy conservative and highly religious or are a major stockholder in an oil company or some other big corporation you will most likely go with republicans. (tax breaks goto to companies and rich people with this party)

if you are a worker, a minority, a person who cares about the enviorment or a low income person that is looking for affordable health care, a union worker, a minimum wage worker or anything along those lines you will tend to vote democratic. (tax breaks goto the families and the workers)

thats how i break it down.....

What would be better for USA? Democratic? Or an old republican man like Ronald Reagan?

A balanced buget?

No $1,000,000,000,000 wars?

Not allowing China to hold so much of the governments debt?

i know a guy who was trying something like that.
first he had to get the engine to a certain tempature running on gas and then he could flip a switch and somehow run it on hyrdogen I guess. I was really young back then so don't know how he did it exactly.

if they could make fuel cells lighter and less expensive and more durable we could convert over to that. but big brother oil would not like that very much.
again...oil for armament, isn't that the trade we are doing with saudi arabia?
we get oil from tehm, they get military goodies from us which in turn provides jobs in the defense sector (every politicians wet dream) which is supposed to be good for the economy as well. so there is no incentive to change just yet.
have to wait for noah's flood from melting ice caps to come first.
