Message 51835 - Posted: 7 Mar 2008, 10:27:35 UTC

this is about the third day i have recieved
3/7/2008 4:21:19 AM|rosetta@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
3/7/2008 4:21:25 AM|rosetta@home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks

i am wondering if something is wrong with my client or if R@H is undergoing something. I have not selected "No new tasks" either if your wondering.

i also believe i had got the beta version when i started

take a look at your task tab screen.
do you see any work that is "running, high priority"?
if so, the BOINC will not download any work.

Also, there may be enough work already scheduled for your preferences and BOINC manager feels that it does not need any more. Being you are running SETI you may have enough work between the two programs for the time being.

Those are the two main reasons.

actually i set R@H to have 90% and seti to have 10% :P
and both are set to dl 1.25 days work as per defaults. and can access network at any time. i use BAM if that matters
