I know users in this forum wouldn't be here if you didn't believe in the power of collaborative efforts. It is for this reason I'm asking for your help.

Two of my very good friends Annie & Tom are competing to win in the NBC Today Show's Race to the Altar. They are currently in the final five and are two of the most deserving people I know in world for this honor to compete and win.

How this relates to the Rosetta@home mission:
Annie was diagnosed with Lupus when she was seventeen and since then has been courageously navigating the trials and tribulations she has encountered over the years. Tom knowing he found a gem in Annie looked past any superficial limitations he felt this disease might have put on their relationship and has been not only supportive of Annie, but he is also her best friend and (at least I believe) her one true soul mate.

When I joined the Rosetta@home collaborative effort I did so with the hope that I would do my part (even if it may be small) to help fight for cures and better the lives of those that are with us today, and those who are yet to be born tomorrow. I humbly ask for your support in helping give a dream wedding to a couple that right now you can collaboratively help give them.

Please help by voting for Annie & Tom at the NBC Today Show Race for the Altar website:

You may also vote via text message if you are so inclined.

Thank you in advance.

Wishing them best of luck on winning the grand prize and a possible cure found soon for Lupus.

Thank you all for your help, I'd like to ask again for assistance in the next round of voting. They'll keep on going until the hopefully win. Only three more weekly rounds to success!

Annie & Tom have unfortunately been eliminated from the competition in the last round of voting. I thank everyone for their efforts, as they couldn't have come as far as they did without everyones kind help.
