Norton Internet Security 2009 Sonar is flagging the file minirosetta_1.47_windows_intelx86.exe as having a virus and is deleting the file. This has happened more than once.

Is this a known problem and valid or can I tell Norton to accept the file for processing?

take a look at this thread for dicussion on NAV.

Short version it is ok. its just one of those things you get with new and update products and automated scanning. "it looks like a virus so must be a virus". next time around put boinc and all the rosetta stuff into your safe files folder if that is the right term. then hopefully you wont have this problem.
