I know this is nothing to do with Rosetta, but I wondered if anybody here also runs WU for SETI?

My question is as follows, I have 21024 Total Credit but no recent credit due to just returning to Bonic and the SETI servers being down and having 12 WU waiting to upload.

But I can't post anything on the SETI forum because it says you must have a certain amount of credit before you can post. But nowhere does it tell me how much credit i need :)

:(

I could only come up with this, hope it helps a little...

I have been trying to post a message on the Message boards but it says I don't have enough credit

It's referring to Recent Average Credit (or RAC for short), and I don't know how much you need, but I do know you need more than 1 for most of the board. Here in Q&A you can have no credit and still post.

Many thanks :)

Now why could I not find that !

I guess I have to wait for the SETI servers to work and collect my 12 completed WU so i get some recent credit then I can post again.

At least its only on my slow pc and I have it doing Milkyway@home while it waits for the servers to restart.

My Faster PC is happy crunching away for Rosetta :)

Well, at least the German translation states very clearly that I don't have enough credits. There is no hint to the RAC. So at least the translation is wrong.

BTW This rule was established, when there were all these discussions about Crunch3r's optimized applications, fout years ago...

P.S. I still have RAC of 0.08, although I stopped SETI 4 years ago???

I used to crunch for them too but have also moved on, when I was a Forum Admin though we talked about posting then actual number but it was decided not to post it because they wanted to be able to adjust it slightly to stop people that would try to spam the boards. Some people want to post their message everywhere so they would crunch 1 or 2 units and get enough credits and happily post away their ads etc until their RAC went down again, or they got banned. Some people just got ticked off and posted things they shouldn't have and they too would get banned. But to stop them long term the minimum RAC was raised slightly and could still be slightly different depending on where you want to post. For instance when I was there the Beta Boards took more credits than the regular Boards. In the long run though if you are a regular Seti cruncher, you WILL be able to post there shortly.
