Hotels within walking distance of Westminster Abbey have unabashedly raised their normal rates to unprecedented levels. The Royal Horseguards Hotel in Whitehall Place charges up to £650 ($1,008) per night for a double room for the end of April 2011, yet £263 ($408) for a typical Friday before Christmas. Buy your self a strong converter for boosting 110AC to 220DC and you should be able to take a waffle iron back with you. Remember though, its technically a Brussels waffle you are having. Belgian waffles vary from area to area and each has its own style. Plus the American "Belgian" waffle is just round a has deeper holes in it than the standard waffle.
