Hotels within walking distance of Westminster Abbey have unabashedly raised their normal rates to unprecedented levels. The Royal Horseguards Hotel in Whitehall Place charges up to £650 ($1,008) per night for a double room for the end of April 2011, yet £263 ($408) for a typical Friday before Christmas. On a normal night, the Ritz on Piccadilly charges £300 ($465) for a superior king room, but a hefty £575 ($891) for that same accommodation April 29. r u kidding, lol?! that was the very first thing i did, within 30 mins of the official announcement of the wedding date !!! don't even want to guess how much it would cost now for wedding week in london... |

holy krill fatman ! we're not staying in a luxury room, and it'd be a long walk, but we are in central london for about $100/night for a week, with the wedding in the middle... guess it was one right answer to book the accommodations immediately (before they could react to the news themselves and raise prices to extortionist levels), and worry about everything else afterwards... $1,000/night. dang, that'd buy a lot of belgian waffles, lol !!! holy krill fatman ! You better just hope they don't 'accidentally' lose your reservation and then try and charge you the new rate to rebook, keep those confirmation papers handy!! And good luck at the wedding!!! |

well, i think the majestys normally sleep in seperate beds, so maybe they can sleep in the same bed for a few nights, and free up a bed in the palace for us... no, wait, strike that, one chuck is more than enough !!! found that penguin launching game on facebook. It has a new feature, whale bounce. using the whale bounce i got a computer penguin to fly sub orbital for awhile and travel nearly 400 meters or about 1200 feet. lol see pengy, if we launch you and use a whale to boost your travels further we might be able to get you into the palace. but you will need alot of padding, that's for sure. lol |

still trying to figure out what to do with 3 weeks in morocco... What is a penguin doing going to the desert? Is he trying to get back to his 2 million year old roots? |

this particular penguin seems to have a very bad sense of direction, and gets lost alot... you just never know where he is going to wind up next... (although, back in brussels for some more belgian waffles wouldn't be too bad...) Defeat Censorship! Wikileaks needs OUR help! Learn how you can help (d/l 'insurance' file), by clicking here. this particular penguin seems to have a very bad sense of direction, and gets lost alot... Well stay off the camels then, they tend to just wander around aimlessly alot, unless you are on a tour! |

this particular penguin seems to have a very bad sense of direction, and gets lost alot... Buy your self a strong converter for boosting 110AC to 220DC and you should be able to take a waffle iron back with you. Remember though, its technically a Brussels waffle you are having. Belgian waffles vary from area to area and each has its own style. Plus the American "Belgian" waffle is just round a has deeper holes in it than the standard waffle. There are 3 types, so read here about them. |
