Greetings from Essaouira ! Beach-front throwback to the 1960's. Supposedly, Hendrix used to chill here back in the day... Lots of corned-beef hash, without the corned-beef, if you know what i mean... You check in, but don't want to check out...

Oh well, back to the Big Apple in 3 days...

May hit Rick's Cafe in Casa before flying out...

So I guess now there will be an experiment to determine what makes penguins, and other marine animals, avoid a certain spot in the ocean so the experts can drop a buoy or two and cordon off the area to the animals?! A little prevention would go a long way to stop further contamination! On the West Coast of the US the Navy is being accused of altering the paths of whales with their sonar tests. Maybe drop a few active sonar buoys and see if the penguins, and other animals too, stay away and don't get oiled up, it is NOT suntan oil after all!

Hope the penguin made it back home to get a fresh supply of krill and wash off all the sand and get a feather washing and waxing for his next trip to see the wedding in the UK.

Greetings from Inverness, Scotland. On the river Ness. Heading down to lake Ness, to see if my friend Nessie is around. Did Glasgow; Edinburgh next!

Stay away from the tattoo places!!! Edinburgh is where I got mine in the mid 70's while I was in the Navy! I also saw a play there called Hair where the nude actors and actresses crawled thru the seats, very fun for us Navy guys!

Did you bring your camping gear for staking out your parade spot?
Hope you brought some freshly packed krill to hold you through.
Be sure to get your feathers cleaned, fluffed and straightened out for the Royals.

It's okay, it wasn't as good as they make it out to be! The only problem I had in Scotland, and I was there for a year, is the heavy accent some people have. But for the most part they speak English and they are pretty easy to understand, here in Las Vegas our waitress at dinner last night was from the US and I didn't understand most of what she was saying!! She had a very thick accent and then ran all her words together too, mostly we just said 'okay'.

Penguin is MIA again

Where did he get lost at this time?
Trying to sneak a peak at the couple in Clarence House and got sent to Scotland yard? Or did he go wander off and think he could swim home?

Wedding was WAY COOL !!!

Started off near Horse Guards, and saw everyone leave for Westminster in the fancy schmancy cars... then made our way to the Mall, and saw them in the horse-drawn carriages... finally, and don't know how we pulled it off since there were about 1,000,000 people on the Mall, got to Buckingham and had a unobstructed direct front-view of the balcony when the Royals came out, not an easy thing to do when 100,000 others wanted the same thing...

Heading to Iceland tomorrow night...

Cheers !

Careful or you could be on all the talk shows as they want to know what you saw and how you felt too!

How do you feel....why the heck do they ask such a question?
Must be some part of journalism 301 that they have to practice, or is that psych 101?

haven't watched the boob-tube in a spell... really, is that what they're doing, asking random people how they "feel" about the wedding, lol ?!

better question would have been: in a crowd of 1,000,000+, where the police refused to open the crowd-control-gates for a very lengthy period of time, how did you keep from having an attack of claustrophobia...

I think it is Psych 101, it has to with 'personalizing' your time on tv, making you feel like they 'really' want to know, getting you to open up and give that one quote that they can then run with forever!

compared to last year in london, definitely getting slaughtered by exchange rate... should have exchanged all my krill for pounds, would have been much happier this year...

just how expensive is iceland ?!

so expensive, that the soda machines, instead of accepting paper money, accept credit cards !

serious.
