Damnit Todd! You freaking taskmaster! DID you guys get a freaking spam/recruiting messege from FaD?? I got one from PixieBot last night.. I was REALLY pissed.. Posted a mad messege on FaD forums about it! What the hell, is FaD giveing out our emails now? Maybe I shouldnt care so uch, but I HATE ppl selling/giving email lists to others.. especially when im on the list. Secret team meetings and the sharing of 3.2Terabytes of free software -->HERE!... Don't bee too proud Toddie .... ;-)) One last thing before I start completly ignoring any posts about the email... there is no proven wrong. I dont care how, why, when, or any reason whatso ever I got an email from someone I do not know. That email was not welcome and fad has no business giving my email or forwarding an pre-made email to any mail box I have. I crunched for science there, I did not subscribe to a news group or email list. So regardless of the reason or method, it made me mad and FaD emails to me are now unwelcome and completely blocked. If I start getting the same emails from Rosetta, It will upset me to the same degree. And Morphy before you start setting criteria for being a "man" maybe you should know whom you are talking to. I have not been on deapthought for a year. So if it is showing any results for any LUBU, then it is in error and/or the uninstall is not clean. Why is an apology needed and who would it be addressed to anyhow? This might not be my place but damn, this is a mauisun thread and here we are getting hammered from a memeber of FadBeens =). Why is an apology needed and who would it be addressed to anyhow? I got a recruiting message last night on one of my spam free dont give my email out to anyone addys.. I got mad and told FaD i didnt appreciate it. These hosers think its ok to send mass emails out. 42 is not in the box on any machine AND has not been for one year.. So it is not ok to send email to me, and because FaD software and databases are not clean DOES NOT MAKE IT OK.. READ this HOBS.. ONE YEAR. I don not want ANYMORE email from you. It must be very hard for You to see Your own mistake long time ago while registering at FAD concerning the option "Mail from Team Captain". That was Your fault and has nothing to do with Keith. Beeing a team captain for my former team I can assure You that I can't see the addresses of the team. Period.... Maybe You can remember my rant against Keith because of my old installations which didn't exist anymore. I switched my nick and my account was split beween my old and my new team. Keith told me that it's not possible to make the changes in the database concerning old installations. And yes, I don't know You but I know that a man who barked out in the forum should be able to apologize when proven wrong.... Teddies.... |

1. Maybe You can remember my rant against Keith because of my old installations which didn't exist anymore. I switched my nick and my account was split beween my old and my new team. Keith told me that it's not possible to make the changes in the database concerning old installations. 1. You had a right to rant.. that should have been fixed. and my account is not split.. has not been for one year. I have a right to express my displeasure. 2. I dont feel like im wrong; if you knew me.. or asked anyone on my team before you posted that, you would know that when im wrong I apologize thoroughly when I need to. Can't a person state their dsipleasure with something without it turning into a huge mess? That is all that has happened here with Legman and for whatever reason it has snowballed into this big ol ugly thread. We are here to work together to find a cure. We were all at FaD and we are here now at rosetta. We all have a common thread and that is to help. This ongoing, you owe an apology and be a man crap is totally off the mark. I think that if an apology should be issued it should be by you two coming in here and throwing accusations and blame around like you know what the hell you are talking about. I have known legman for a little over two years now and he knows what he is talking about and I trust him completely. So if there are some apologies to be handed out I think they should come from you two. If you cant say something nice, say something vague. And if you can't think of something vague, then shut the hell up! =) |

"I did NOT sign up to FaD so you guys could hand out my email to anyone recruiting for a project. What a way to show professionalism. Ok, my last rant before I stay out of this thread... No Because I crunch for FaD for free and registered with them to perform this service for them for free. It does not give them the right to use my email, or have a software system that does not cleanly move my email around to the appropriate list. Sending unwanted email to me solicitating my services is the exact same thing as mass porn spam email and in my opinion is unprofessional. Legman, please listen to me - I sent out the e-mail. It was sent to my teamies in Deep thought. You have, as THINK said, 'installations still registered at Deep Thought'. The team e-mail is sent using an online form - you know this because you and fluffy chicken tried to get it working sometime ago for your team. You should also know that I do not have your e-mail, I don't see the e-mail addresses, it's all done through FaD support. FaD does not spam, I do not spam. Despite what you say or think - you are wrong in this instance. We all make mistakes, in this case you didn't clear Deep Thought details from a defunct install, and you had the box ticked to enable e-mails from the team captain, ie, me. That is why you got my team e-mail, which by the way is information to tell my teamies what's happening and where we've gone. In no way was it a recruitment e-mail. You say you wouldn't go back to the FaD forum, but you were there this afternoon, after your team captain, myself and THINK had posted. What I would like is for you to apologise in that thread, both to FaD and to myself. Thank you. Pixiebot
